200 Trapelo Rd Redevelopment
200 Trapelo Rd Redevelopment
The history of this property, while under the state's control, is extensive and filled with abuse and neglect. There were some positive accomplishments related to care of the disabled and special education, but this history is dark. Please see links here for historical documentation and happenings when this property was a state school. I also recommend reading the book, The State Boys Rebellion, for a definitive history and story of the Fernald School and some of those who lived there.
Respectfully, Bill Hanley, City Councillor, Ward 3
